Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
